The Understory
In a forest, the understory is the layer that grows beneath the canopy. It's sheltered by the trees above and full of life of its own. Our studio grows the same way, right inside Good Judy's office.
Founded in 2019, Good Judy has been on the mission of removing petroleum plastic from tattooing. With the largest selection of certified compostable and/or biodegradable single-use supplies, the Understory is where we put that to work every day. Our artists tattoo with the supplies we make and sell, and their feedback shapes what we build next.
We're a small studio with tattooers and a tooth gem artist. Come in for custom work, flash, or a little sparkle.
