Everyday there are critical actions being taken by Indigenous Peoples around the world to protect their ancestral lands and in turn - protect and preserve the environment. This far too often invisible work deserves massive support from everyone who cares about protecting human rights and protecting planet earth.
Please take time when you can to utilize these resources and let Canadian Government representatives know that they need to do more. Specifically right now we need to step up and tell them to stop the construction of the Coastal Gaslink Pipeline that threatens the headwaters of the Wedzin Kwa, and end all pipeline construction on Wet'suwet'en territory. Using these templates you can quickly call and email representatives to voice your concerns. Please feel free to personalize these scripts if you have the time.
The Trans Canada Coastal Gaslink pipeline does not have the collective free, prior, and informed consent of the Wet'suwet'en hereditary chiefs. All of the Wet'suwet'en clans have rejected the CGL pipeline.
